About Andrew Reid:

Andrew is a lecturer in Old Testament and Biblical interpretation at Ridley Theological College in Melbourne and director of Ridley’s Centre for Biblical Theology and Preaching. He was National Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students during the 1980s. For the ten years before coming to Ridley in 2005, he and his wife, Heather, ministered St Matthews Anglican Church in Shenton Park, Western Australia, before leading a church plant at Curtin University. Andrew's burden is to help people to understand the Old Testament as Christian Scripture, and to train pastors in biblical preaching. He is the author of commentaries on Daniel, Genesis, 1 and 2 Samuel, and Postcard From Palestine, an introduction to interpreting the Bible. In his leisure time, Andrew walks or runs with their two dogs, tinkers with computers and watches British detective shows on TV.
