“Money No Enough - Wealth & the Christian”

Money, money, money. In our world, money talks and money rules. It is the currency of our world and it drives so much of all that we do and think about each day. But what is the Christian to think about money, wealth and materialism? Is it all bad? Or is there a balance that we need to strike between God and money? And what about the “prosperity gospel”? Is it biblical or not?

Join us for our next Project Timothy Bible Conference where the well-known preacher Rev Mike Raiter, Principal, Bible College of Victoria, Melbourne (Australia), will open up the Bible with us and help us to explore what the Bible says about wealth and the Christian.

Speakers:

Michael Raiter

MIKE RAITER is the principal of the Bible College of Victoria (Melbourne, Australia), a theological college with a focus on training missionaries to serve God in cross-cultural contexts. He is well known and highly sought after in Australia and beyond as a conference speaker and regularly preaches at conferences such as Katoomba and the Church Missionary Society Summer School. Mike has also had an influential ministry as an author and his book on spirituality and Christianity, “Stirrings of the Soul”, was awarded the prize as the Australian Christian Book of the Year. Mike has also served as the Head of the Missions Department at Moore College and as a missionary in Pakistan, where he met his wife, Sarah. They have four children.
