God
the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit…..Three persons in the Godhead.
And of the three, our understanding of the Holy Spirit is the most confused
of all. Some of us shy away from talking about him, while some seek him
above all things. Some expect his presence to be marked by dramatic phenomena,
while some insist he is with us all the time. And when it comes to the
gifts the Holy Spirit bestows on us, opinions vary as wide as the sea.
So who really is the Holy Spirit? What is his role and what does he do?
And when is he with us…does he come and go as he pleases or does he make
his permanent lodging with us? And how should we view the gifts that the
Bible says he gives us?
