Guest speaker: Rev Dr Ben Thompson
Rev Dr Ben Thompson has been in the gospel ministry for more than 20 years. After obtaining a BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, he laboured as a student worker for about four years in St Andrews the Great, Cambridge. He completed an MTh in Theological and Pastoral Studies passing with Distinction at Oak Hill Theological College in 2012. Ben’s PhD from Queens University, Belfast, is on the role of poetry in shaping the characterization of the kings in 1-2 Samuel.
About Bible Unwrapped
Join us for two mornings designed for Pastors and Bible Teachers to dig deeper into teaching the Bible. We will be unwrapping 1 & 2 Samuel so that we can appreciate its purpose, theology and structure. There will be lectures on the book as well as hands on small group time to dig into the book together.
The outline for each day is as follows:

10.45am: Small Group Discussion on Lecture
12.15pm: Model Sermon on Passage
12.45pm: Questions & Answers
1pm: Lunch
2pm: End
