The NextGen Programme
The NextGen Programme runs every year through our Annual Conference in Singapore. Delegates (attendees) will go through the following courses, otherwise known as “Strands!”
Strand 1:
Bible Exegesis and Application - New Testament.
Strand 2:
Incorporating Biblical Theology in Exegesis and Application - Old Testament
Strand 3:
Systematic Theology, looking at how the bible as whole speaks about a certain topic
What can you expect at the Conference?
Strand Sessions
Strand groups are the heart of every NextGen conference. They are facilitated by strand leaders, who would guide the discussions while delegates work through a selected bible passage together using the NextGen model.
Sermons from the Bible
Our speakers come from all over the world and are familiar with the NextGen model. They give talks from passages surrounding the selected text enabling them to model what is taught and applied in strand groups.
Practical Ministry Workshops
These workshops provide practical handles and equip delegates for ministry in their local churches through a range of relevant topics. Examples of workshops in previous conferences include 'Loving your Church well', 'How to read the bible 1-2-1' and 'Personal Godliness'.
Community
A rare opportunity to meet and connect with Christians across denominations. The conference provides pockets of time for social, meals together and even time to pray with and for one another. These serve to strengthen partnerships across churches for the gospel.
Who is NextGen for?
18 to 35 year olds form the main delegates, but we welcome anyone older than 35 who is keen to come and learn!
